This is not medical advice
Everything on quietenerves.com is published for general information. We are researchers and writers, not physicians, dietitians or pharmacists. Nothing here is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing here should replace a conversation with a qualified healthcare professional who knows your history.
Speak to a doctor first if any of these apply
- You are pregnant or nursing
- You are under 18
- You take prescription medication of any kind
- You have a diagnosed medical condition
- You have reduced kidney function, or you take a tetracycline or quinolone antibiotic, a bisphosphonate or a thyroid medicine — magnesium can interfere with how several of those are absorbed
- You have surgery scheduled
Dietary supplements are regulated differently
In the United States, dietary supplements are not subject to the pre-market approval process that applies to pharmaceutical drugs. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold. Any badge or claim suggesting a supplement is "FDA approved" is inaccurate — what a manufacturer can legitimately state is that a product is made in an FDA-registered facility, which is a statement about the premises, not about the product.
A supplement is not a treatment
Quiet Nerves is a dietary supplement sold with a structure-function claim on its label: "Nerve Health Support*". It is not a treatment for neuropathy or for nerve damage of any cause, whatever the sales copy around it says, and persistent numbness, tingling, burning or weakness is a reason to see a clinician rather than to order six bottles. New or worsening nerve symptoms can have causes that need diagnosing.
Individual results vary
Response to any supplement depends on diet, genetics, existing health status, medication and consistency of use. Results described on this site are not guaranteed and may not be typical.
Never delay medical care
If you have a health concern, seek professional advice. Do not disregard or delay medical care because of something you read here. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
